  • Purchased 5401, 5421, 5431 and 5451 Williams Center Technology Campus, 4 office buildings located in Tucson, Arizona;
  • Purchased Ocotillo Marketplace, a 40,764 square foot shopping center located in Chandler, Arizona;
  • Plantation Crossing, a 70,000 square foot shopping center located in Plantation, Florida;
  • Purchased and sold Pierside Pavilion, a multi-use center located in Huntington Beach, California;
  • Purchased existing portfolio of seven shopping centers located throughout California; White Sands Mall, existing mall located in Alamagordo, New Mexico; Cottonwood Creek Mall, an existing enclosed mall in Wasilla, Alaska;
  • Purchased 4 lots located adjacent to Hwy. 36 (between Denver and Boulder, Colorado);
  • Lincoln View Plaza, Paradise Valley, Arizona, retail center purchased from the Baptist Church;
  • Tucson, Arizona single tenant commercial property purchased from Excel Real Estate Investment Trust;
  • Home Base center in Bakersfield, California; shopping center at Shea and 92nd Street in Scottsdale, Arizona purchased from Bank of America in Phoenix, Arizona; sale leaseback of bank office building on Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona which was recently resold at a substantial profit;
  • Twin shopping centers in Phoenix, Arizona purchased from Crown Life Insurance Company of Canada; UCLA campus apartment project which was a joint venture with Bel Air Savings and Loan Association Brentwood, California; shopping center in Las Vegas, Nevada purchased from REO division of Commonwealth Savings and Loan, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Establishment of financial relations including unsecured lines of credit.

DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF IMPROVED REAL ESTATE

Development activity includes the purchase of unimproved land, its construction and development into income producing property, marketing the project and management of the improved real estate. Development of several industrial units. Development of 1500 apartment and condominium units. Successful public and private syndications.

WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION OF BUILDING MATERIALS

Distribution of building materials including gypsum board, lath plaster, wire mesh, aluminum studs, masonry products, cement and tools. Including a public utilities license with operation of 9 tractor trailers, 20 smaller trucks and 9 lifts.

PURCHASE AND SALE OF UNIMPROVED REAL ESTATE

Purchase of unimproved real estate which is then sold to other land companies, individuals, or investor groups.

SELLING, CHARTERING AND OPERATING OCEAN-GOING COMMERCIAL VESSELS

This field was chosen because of the similarity between real estate and shipping, there being little difference between a major-tenant lease on a shopping center, and a major-company charter on a vessel.
